Opening credits (close-up view ), and theme for the 1961 movie "Judgment at Nuremberg" starring Spencer Tracey as the chief Judge presiding over the trial of a group of Nazi judges at the Palace of Justice in Nuremberg, the very town where Hitler used to hold his "Nuremberg Rallies" in the 1930's (last one was in 1938 ).

The song,"Wenn Wir marschieren", was a German marching song written around 1910, and was popular with the Nazi regime.

The variation heard here was arranged by Ernest Gold especially for the movie.

It should be noted that just because the song was popular with the Nazi regime, that does not make it a Nazi song.
It was written 10 years before the NSDAP (Nazi Party) was established !

In the movie, that large swastika on top of the building is blown up at the end of the music, but I cut that bit out as it had a tendency to ruin the song.
